Job summary

Providence Park Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, AL is seeking a Restorative Nurse (RN or LPN) to help residents regain and maintain independence through restorative nursing procedures. This full-time role requires Alabama licensure and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

You will care for residents with diverse long-term and short-term needs, emphasizing safety, dignity and independence while adhering to current federal, state and local standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as RN or LPN in Alabama.
• Experience or training in rehabilitative and restorative therapy.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable communicating with elderly residents with multiple needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing procedures to maximize residents' independence.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards.
• Provide compassionate care to elderly residents with various care needs.

Providence Park Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center is currently seeking a Restorative Nurse (RN or LPN) for our Mobile, AL facility. You will perform restorative nursing procedures that maximizes the residents' existing abilities, emphasizes independence instead of dependence and minimizes the negative effects of disability in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility. If you have a desire and a passion to serve the rehabilitation and healthcare needs in both long-term and short-term care, this is the opportunity for you!

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Alabama
• Previous experience or completion of appropriate training program in rehabilitative and restorative therapy practices
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Must have a comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs
