Job summary

TLC Nursing Center in Oneonta, Alabama is seeking a compassionate Restorative CNA to support our restorative nursing program and promote resident independence. You will work under the Restorative Nurse, assist residents with daily activities, implement mobility interventions, monitor progress, and document outcomes to ensure quality, safe care.

This full-time role offers a collaborative team, ongoing training, and a supportive environment focused on resident well-being and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and dignity.
• Implement restorative nursing interventions, including range of motion exercises, ambulation programs, and activities to maintain and improve resident mobility and function.
• Provide direct care and supervision to residents participating in restorative programs, ensuring safety and adherence to care plans.
• Document resident participation, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize resident outcomes.
• Participate in educational opportunities and training sessions to enhance restorative care skills and knowledge.
