Job summary

Warren Barr Oak Lawn is seeking a Restorative Nurse (LPN or RN) to lead the restorative nursing team in our Oak Lawn facility. The role includes supervising the restorative department, evaluating programs, and documenting resident care to uphold high standards.

The candidate must hold an Illinois RN or LPN license, CPR certification, and have 2+ years of RN/LPN SNF experience, including 1 year in restorative nursing. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

• At least two years of RN or LPN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• One year of Restorative Nurse experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the restorative nursing department.
• Evaluate residents’ restorative nursing programs and conduct resident assessments.
• Participate in resident admission and discharge planning and contribute to care plans.
• Complete portions of MDS and other documentation to ensure quality care.

As aRestorative Nurse, you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expectby overseeing and supervising all aspects of the restorative nursing department, evaluating residents restorative nursing programs, performing resident assessments, participating in the resident admission and discharge planning, contributing to resident care plans and completing portions of MDS and other documentation. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State ofIllinoisRN or LPN license;
• C.P.R certification.;
• At least two (2) years of RN or LPN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting;
• One (1) year prior experience as a Restorative Nurse is required.
