Job description

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Embody the company standard as a high-quality care provider.
  2. Provide support, recognition, and information for patients, families, and staff.
  3. Develop, implement, direct, and evaluate the Restorative Nursing Program.
  4. Consult with the interdisciplinary team to develop and maintain restorative care standards.
  5. Ensure that the restorative nursing program complies with applicable laws, regulations, and national restorative nursing standards and requirements.
  6. Perform or supervise the performance of restorative care.
  7. Perform fall assessments, restraint assessments, and evaluations upon new admissions, quarterly, and as needed.
  8. Complete clinical documentation for all restorative care activities.
  9. Work in conjunction with the Director of Nursing to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State, and facility standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:

Currently licensed as a nurse (RN/LPN) in this state.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Must be knowledgeable of the MDS process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
