Job summary

Aegis Therapies is seeking a Restorative CNA Wellness Instructor to join the Rehab Therapy Team in Olathe, KS. This PRN role supports wellness, fitness and exercise programs within restorative care and works closely with the therapy staff.

Qualified candidates have a CNA certification, High School diploma or equivalent, and specialty certifications in fitness or health. Training provided onsite to support restorative care responsibilities across ambulation, transfers and ROM.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor or health and fitness specialist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellness, fitness and exercise programs with the therapy team.
• Receive full restorative training onsite.
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Exclusive restorative tasks: ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care.

Education
