Job summary
Aegis Therapies is a national leader in rehabilitation and wellness and is hiring a Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care to join our Rehab Therapy Team at an Emporia, KS facility. This PRN role covers restorative CNA duties and wellness programming. You must have a current CNA certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.
A specialty certification as a personal trainer or fitness instructor is preferred. Experience with seniors is a plus.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current CNA certification in state of practice.
- Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor or similar area preferred.
- Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs with the therapy team.
- Receive restorative training onsite.
- Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
- Handle exclusive restorative tasks (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing) with limited other CNA duties.
