Job summary

Aegis Therapies is seeking a Restorative CNA Wellness Instructor to work with the Rehab Therapy Team in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting. The role emphasizes wellness programs, restorative activities, and collaboration with therapists, with weekend, day shifts and PRN scheduling.

Certification as a CNA is required, and additional specialty fitness credentials are preferred. Training is provided onsite to support restorative care for seniors across various settings.

Qualifications

• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA in state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor or health and fitness specialist preferred.
• No restorative experience required; CNA certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide wellness, fitness and exercise programs with the therapy team.
• Receive restorative training onsite.
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
• Perform exclusive restorative tasks such as ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care.
