Job summary

Aegis Therapies in Emporia, KS is seeking a Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care to support our rehab therapy team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on delivering wellness, fitness, and exercise programs under supervision, with restorative training provided on site.

As a CNA with current state certification, you will assist with restorative tasks and contribute to a patient-centered approach in skilled nursing settings, enjoying flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow clinically.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Current CNA certification in state of practice.
• Specialty certification in personal training or fitness-related area preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work with the therapy team to provide wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive full restorative training onsite. CNA certification required.
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Exclusive restorative tasks (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing) with limited other CNA duties.
