Job summary

DuPage County is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide for the Kenneth Moy Care Center. The role focuses on restorative and maintenance programs to help residents maintain or improve function, with emphasis on safe, patient-centered care.

You will support ADL tasks, participate in care planning, document care and assist in MDS activities. Shift is 7:00am-3:00pm with rotating weekends; benefits include extensive health, pension, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of Illinois CNA training and passing state competency test.
• Active registration with the State of Illinois registry.
• Certification as CNRA or Restorative Nursing Aide within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and administering restorative programs for residents.
• Administer rehabilitative and maintenance programs with documentation.
• Lead CNA team on unit for ADL and bowel/bladder programs.
• Instruct residents, family members, and staff on exercise and rehabilitation techniques.
• Develop care plans and enter tasks into the electronic medical record.
• Complete sections of the MDS and document in the EMR.
• Attend department meetings and care conferences; participate in training sessions.
• Assist with supplies handling and equipment maintenance.
• Help assign wheelchairs and provide direct resident care when assigned.
