Job summary

Northridge Village in Ames, IA is seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA to provide direct care to residents in line with restorative nursing policies. You will help residents with mobility and daily activities to enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities include ROM exercises, feeding support, bathing, grooming, documentation in the EMR, and collaboration with nursing and PT staff while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Nurse Aide license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative nursing tasks including progressive range of motion, mobility, transfers, standing, walking.
• Support residents with progressive eating during meals.
• Assist with progressive bathing and dressing.
• Aid residents with grooming and daily personal care.
• Take and record vital signs per schedule and during activities.
• Document progress and report to nurses and supervisors; collaborate with physical therapy.
