Job summary

Good Samaritan Canistota is seeking a Restorative Nursing Aide to support residents during day shifts. You will use mobility and ROM exercises to promote independence, assist with daily living activities, and document care progress in the EMR under RN supervision.

Requirements include CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and 40 hours of restorative care training. The role offers a robust benefits package and daily access to earned wages.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16.
• Completion of required restorative care training (40 hours) and ongoing competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Perform mobility, balance and ROM activities; use adaptive equipment as needed.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, eating and movement.
• Document care progress in the EMR and report changes to RN.
• Follow infection prevention and standard precautions per policy.
