Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• The Restorative Nursing Assistant will provide residents with restorative/rehabilitative activities according to the treatment plan or ROM plan written by a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and/or Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Functions as a member of the nursing staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and focuses on performing functional tasks that maintain orderliness of the nursing unit.
• Participates in care activities to support patient-focused, whole-person care.
