Senior Suites in Oklahoma is seeking a CNA/CMA to partner with the therapy department to deliver restorative care to residents. The role requires assuming responsibility for directing restorative care services and maintaining complete treatment records and progress notes.

You will review policies annually, participate in planning with admin, medical and therapy staff, and encourage residents to engage in ADLs while assisting OT/PT exercises and completing MDS portions as assigned.

Formación

• Must hold CNA or CMA certification.
• Ability to work with the therapy department on restorative care.
• Commitment to maintaining resident treatment records and progress notes.

Responsabilidades

• Work with the therapy dept to provide restorative care to residents.
• Assume the authority, responsibility and accountability of directing restorative care services.
• Maintain treatment records, resident files and progress notes as required.
• Review restorative care policies and procedures manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually and participate in making recommended changes.
• Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff and therapy department as well as other related departments in planning restorative care.
• Encourage resident to perform and/or participate in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist residents with occupational therapy (OT)/physical therapy (PT) exercises as directed.
• Complete portions of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) as assigned.
