Cox Healthcare in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking a CNA/CMA to support restorative care for residents. You will work closely with therapy and nursing teams, directing restorative care services and maintaining accurate progress notes.

You will encourage residents to participate in ADLs, assist with OT/PT exercises, and contribute to annual reviews of policies and job descriptions while documenting MDS portions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be a CNA or CMA.
• Ability to assist residents with ADLs and care activities.
• Willingness to collaborate with therapy and nursing staff.

Responsabilités

• Assume authority, responsibility and accountability for directing restorative care services.
• Maintain treatment records, resident files and progress notes as required.
• Review restorative care policies and procedures manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually.
• Participate in planning restorative care with administration, medical and nursing staff and therapy.
• Meet with related departments in planning restorative care.
• Encourage residents to perform and/or participate in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist residents with OT/PT exercises as directed.
• Complete portions of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) as assigned.

Assist residents with occupational therapy (OT)/physical therapy (PT) exercises as directed.

Complete portions of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) as assigned.
