Job summary

Terrace of Kissimmee is seeking a Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant to support the restorative nursing department and implement facility-wide restorative care mandates. You will follow therapy plans, document care, and assist residents with mobility and daily activities to improve quality of life.

You must hold a valid CNA certification, have a High School Diploma or GED, and pass background screening. English literacy and teamwork with nursing staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess and maintain a clear and active CNA certification.
• Must possess and maintain an Eligible/Clear Background Screening.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Use wristband or photo in electronic record to identify residents before treatments, meals, etc.
• Follow all facility policy and procedures.
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, EMR, etc., clearly.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Unit Manager promptly.
• Assist residents with activities, mobility and transfers per plan of care.
• Maintain and clean restorative equipment and report issues to maintenance.
• Engage residents in physical activities to support mobility as directed by therapists.
