Job summary

NHC HealthCare Tullahoma is seeking a dedicated Restorative CNA to support residents through restorative programs aimed at improving quality of life and functional independence.

Requirements include Tennessee CNA certification and a reliable Weds-Sun 7a-3p schedule. You will work closely with the restorative nursing and therapy teams and document patient progress in the EHR with care and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Tennessee Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification is required.
• Experience with restorative programs is preferred.
• Ability to work a consistent Weds-Sun 7a-3p schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, direct, and participate in Restorative Programs for patients.
• Communicate with restorative nursing and therapy teams on goals and approaches.
• Maintain accurate restorative documentation, including EHR entries.
• Report changes in patient condition or behavior and any incidents.

Restorative CNA Position Highlights

• Understands and practices universal precautions with all patients. Adheres to isolation precautions and the center's infection prevention and control policies.
• Oversee, direct, and participate in Restorative Programs initiated for individual patients.
• Communicate with the restorative nursing and therapy team concerning goal setting and approaches to individual patient needs.
• Maintains accurate restorative documentation of all patients participating in any restorative programs, including documentation in the EHR. Reports (and records when appropriate) any changes observed in condition or behavior of patients and any unusual incidents.
