Job summary

Tacoma Nursing & Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in a long-term care setting. You will assist with restorative activities, daily living tasks, and documentation under supervision from the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities include observing resident responses, coordinating with restorative staff, and participating in meals and resident transport as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Washington State.
• Preference for coursework to train Restorative Aides.

Responsibilities

• Assist with active and passive restorative exercises under supervision.
• Instruct and assist residents with eating, transfers, ambulation, and daily living activities; document progress.

Skills

Long-term care experience

On-the-job training (therapy)

Interpersonal with residents & staff

Education

WA CNA license
