Job summary

Life Care Center of Kennewick seeks a Restorative CNA to carry out patient-related restorative nursing tasks assigned by the Restorative Nurse, in accordance with laws and Life Care standards. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with active license.
• Completed restorative nursing training.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and Life Care standards for post-acute care.
• Implement and interpret department programs and procedures.
• Perform in all competency areas including patient rights, safety and sanitation.
• Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Follow Life Care’s Code of Conduct and complete compliance training.
• Lift, turn, move, position, and transport patients.
• Assist with baths, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Accurately document and chart patient care.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Provide physician ordered exercises to each patient.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Assist in evacuation of patients.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
