Job summary

Aegis Therapies is seeking a Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care to join the Rehab Therapy Team at a skilled nursing facility in Carlton, MN. This full-time CNA/wellness role focuses on delivering wellness, fitness, and exercise programs to residents.

We provide on-site restorative training; CNA certification is required. You will assist in restorative care and contribute to patient mobility, range of motion, and daily activities with a supportive therapeutic team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor or similar, preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs with the rehabilitation therapy team.
• Receive full restorative training onsite. CNA certification required.
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
• Perform exclusive restorative tasks (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care).
