Alliance College-Ready Public Schools in Los Angeles is seeking a Scholar Culture Liaison to support a safe, inclusive campus environment. You will build positive relationships with scholars, supervise transitions and lunch, and help implement social-emotional supports and restorative practices.

The role emphasizes de-escalation, early intervention, data tracking, and collaboration with staff, parents, and the Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years of experience in a related field.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in human development, psychology, social work, education, or related field may be considered without related work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build developmentally appropriate, positive relationships with scholars to foster trust and cooperation.
• Supervise scholar activity areas during transitions, breaks, and lunch periods.
• Assist in general supervision focused on discipline and behavioral expectations.
• Follow behavior incident reporting protocols to inform administrators of incidents.
• Implement universal Tier I interventions to prevent minor behaviors and reinforce expectations.
• Engage in least invasive intervention strategies to promote a positive culture.
• Maintain data for behavior systems and individual support plans.
• Support planning of school-wide behavior response systems and recognition events.
• Schedule and facilitate restorative meetings to address conflicts and repair harm.
