Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of state approved CNA training program.
• Pass state approved competency exam within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, initiates rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions.
• Provides ROM (Passive and Active), splint/brace assistance, and mobility training.
• Documents objectives and interventions in the care plan and clinical record.
• Promotes independence and assists residents in activities of daily living.
• Communicates observations to nursing staff and participates in ongoing care plan development.
