Job summary

MediLodge of Mt. Pleasant in Mount Pleasant, MI is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join as a Restorative Aide Part Time. Under the supervision of licensed nurses, you will perform rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions to help residents regain independence and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a state approved CNA training program and passed state competency exam.
• Six months experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of licensed nurse, initiates rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions.
• Promotes resident’s independence and ability to adapt to daily living.
• Documents objectives and interventions in the care plan and clinical record.
• Instructs residents in self-care activities and use of assistive devices.
