Lifepoint Health®’s Kindred Hospital South Bay Gardena in Gardena, California, is hiring a Restorative Aide for a full-time LTAC role. The wage scale is $25.00-$30.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience in rehab tech or restorative nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Competence with basic computer and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing interventions under supervision to promote maximum functional potential.
• Report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising nurse.
• Participate in quality management and safety committee activities.
• Assist in collecting quality review data and survey preparation.
• Support cost-effective care delivery and interdisciplinary group activities.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Demonstrate professional behavior in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Adhere to the standards of professional organizations and internal policies.
• Contribute to client relations and marketing efforts.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in team meetings.

How You'll Contribute

A Restorative Aide provides restorative nursing interventions under the supervision of a licensed nurse to support patients discharged from formal rehabilitation therapy, those not eligible for formal therapy, or those requiring supplemental interventions during custodial care. The goal is to promote independent, safe functioning and enhance physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Restorative nursing services (excluding Continuous Passive Motion) do not require a physician's order.

Education: High school diploma or GED required.
