Job summary

IICRC is seeking a dependable Warehouse Assistant in Northern Virginia to manage warehouse, equipment, supplies, and company vehicles. The role emphasizes organization, basic maintenance, inventory counts, and supporting restoration crews on projects.

The ideal candidate is reliable, with a valid driver's license, capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable handling physical tasks in a warehouse setting. Retired military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform basic maintenance.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with inventory management is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Organize and track restoration equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Conduct regular supply and inventory counts.
• Receive, unload, organize, and distribute incoming materials and supplies.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for restoration crews and upcoming projects.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Monitor company vehicles for needed repairs or maintenance.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Keep warehouse inventory and equipment records updated.
• Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed.
• Maintain accountability for company property, tools, and equipment.
• Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned
