Job summary

SERVPRO® Northern Virginia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to help manage warehouse operations, equipment, and supplies for restoration projects. This hands-on role is ideal for someone organized, mechanically inclined, and dependable, with a focus on maintaining an orderly workspace and supporting emergency response teams.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Mechanically inclined; able to perform basic maintenance.
• Organized; able to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with inventory management preferred.
• Able to lift and move equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Organize and track restoration equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Conduct regular supply and inventory counts.
• Receive, unload, organize, and distribute incoming materials and supplies.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for restoration crews and upcoming projects.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Monitor company vehicles for needed repairs or maintenance.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Keep warehouse inventory and equipment records updated.
• Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed.
• Maintain accountability for company property, tools, and equipment.
• Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

We are a growing restoration company seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to help manage our warehouse, equipment, supplies, and company vehicles.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is organized, mechanically inclined, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining an orderly workspace.

Retired military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
• Organize and track restoration equipment, tools, and supplies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retired military experience is a plus
• Previous warehouse, logistics, fleet maintenance, or equipment management experience
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment
• Experience with basic automotive or small equipment maintenance

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities and understands the importance of keeping equipment, vehicles, and supplies organized and ready for our emergency response teams.

Competitive pay based on experience.

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
