Job summary

ServiceMaster Premier Restoration Services in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a dependable Warehouse Assistant to join our team. You will support warehouse operations, manage inventory and supplies, handle company vehicles and equipment, and assist with local pickups to keep projects moving smoothly.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will perform daily tasks with safety in mind, operate a forklift when needed, and help multiple departments by providing timely materials and information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR; no DUI/DWI in past 5 years.
• Must pass background check per policy.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift or complete training.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
• DOT medical certificate required to drive DOT vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily warehouse operations, organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Receive, organize, store, and maintain materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles and trailers.
• Safely operate a forklift as required.
• Assist with moving and positioning company vehicles.
• Prepare a weekly list of items that need to be replaced or ordered for the warehouse and other departments.
• Report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment to the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain accurate inventory and supply records as directed.
