Job summary

ServiceMaster Restoration Services in Gainesville, VA is seeking a Field Technician to assess water, fire, mold damage and lead restoration projects. You will use specialized equipment to extract water, dry structures, and perform repairs, while delivering excellent customer service on site with safety as a priority.

This in-field role requires travel to active jobsites, ability to lift heavy materials, and a dedication to high-quality workmanship. OSHA basics preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Organizational skills demonstrated in field work.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities required.
• Analytical thinking for damage assessment and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate property damage to determine restoration scope.
• Perform water extraction, fire/smoke repair, mold remediation, and structural drying.
• Operate specialized restoration tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Document restoration progress, damage assessments, work performed, and reporting details.
• Communicate with clients to explain processes and address concerns.
• Follow safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
