Job summary

United Water Restoration Group – Long Island, NY is seeking a Restoration Technician to perform water, fire, mold, and hazard restoration with a focus on safety and quality. You will work hands-on from day one, drive to sites, and communicate with homeowners and project managers to keep projects on track.

The role includes an on-call rotation for emergencies, with weekends and holidays required. Prior restoration experience and a valid NYS driver's license are highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restoration trade experience.
• Restoration cleanup experience is preferred.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation 24/7.
• Willing to join a rotating on-call schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and work around cleaning products and chemicals.

Responsibilities

Must Haves

• At least 1 year of trade experience.
• Restoration clean-up (water, mold, fire damage) experience, preferred but not required.
• Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation 24/7.
• Ability to repeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry equipment, and work around cleaning products and chemicals.
• Comfortable joining a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends and sometimes holidays.
• Highly responsive, self-motivated, and able to empathize with people on their worst days.
