United Water Restoration Group, Inc. in Tampa, FL is hiring a Restoration Technician. You don’t need prior restoration experience—just the right attitude and a readiness to learn a trade that can grow into a real career.

As a Restoration Technician, you’ll respond to property emergencies, extract water, mitigate damage, and help bring homes and businesses back to normal. We train on the job and offer advancement opportunities in a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Extract water and mitigate water damage.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment.
• Demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Assist with fire and smoke cleaning.
• Perform microbial remediation.
• Assist with vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard cleanup.
• Prepare structural board-up and site stabilization.
• Clean and restore affected areas.
• Maintain equipment and job sites.
• Document moisture logs, progress reports, safety logs.

What Is Restoration?

When a homeowner or business experiences a major water leak, fire, mold problem, or other property emergency, they need someone to respond quickly.

As a Restoration Technician, you’ll help return damaged homes and businesses to normal.

You’ll Learn How To

• Extract water and mitigate water damage

• Assist with fire and smoke cleaning
• Perform microbial remediation

• Document work through moisture logs, progress reports, safety logs, and diagrams
• Work directly with customers during difficult situations

You Must

• Have a valid driver’s license
• Be able to lift and move 25-50 pounds
• Be comfortable working in homes, businesses, crawl spaces, attics, and other job-site environments
• Be willing to participate in the emergency mitigation on-call rotation
• Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
