Servpro Industries in Villa Rica, GA, is seeking a hands-on Restoration Technician to join our team. You will respond to emergency calls and perform restoration tasks including water extraction, drying, and debris removal.

Ideal candidates have handyman or construction experience, enjoy teamwork, and are motivated to learn a new skill. A valid driver’s license is required; on-call shifts may be needed, with uniforms and training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, or related field.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication with supervisors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations (water/fire damage).
• Perform restoration tasks (water extraction, drying, debris removal).
• Load and inventory tools and equipment for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards and site findings to supervisors.
• Explain restoration process to clients and maintain contact.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
