Job summary

Servproparkernortheasthoodcounties is seeking a hands-on restoration associate to support emergency cleanup and property repair efforts. You will work closely with a team to restore homes and businesses after water or fire damage, using equipment and materials provided on site.

The role requires physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and strong communication with clients. Local travel and on-call shifts may be required to meet urgent restoration needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, or related field preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water and fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration tasks such as water extraction, drying, and debris removal.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards, site findings, and equipment needs to supervisors.
• Maintain clear client communication, addressing concerns and explaining the restoration process.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
