Job summary

Servpro Industries, Inc. is hiring for a hands-on restoration teammate to respond to emergencies and perform water and fire damage remediation. You will work with a team to extract water, set up equipment, and help restore properties to pre-loss condition. Strong teamwork and physical stamina are required for outdoor work and rapid response.

The role emphasizes safety, clear client communication, and carrying out cleanup tasks while supporting local communities in times of need.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, or related field preferred.
• Able to work in teams and independently as needed.
• Willingness to learn a new skill and adapt to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations including water and fire damage.
• Perform restoration tasks such as water extraction, drying, equipment setup, and demolition.
• Load and maintain vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards and job site findings to supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with clients about restoration process and timelines.
• Perform cleanup tasks including water extraction and site cleanup.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
