Job summary

SERVPRO of Lakewood is seeking a hands-on team member to support emergency restoration across residential and commercial properties. You will assist with water and fire damage cleanup, equipment setup, and site preparation, contributing to fast, thorough recovery efforts.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills, with on-call shifts and outdoor work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in restoration, construction or related field preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations (water/fire).
• Perform restoration activities (water extraction, drying, equipment setup, demolition).
• Load and inventory tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards and site needs to supervisors.
• Maintain clear client communication about restoration steps.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
