Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore® is seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to perform mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial properties. You will work hands-on, set up equipment, and uphold safety standards while delivering compassionate customer care during stressful loss events.

Ideal candidates have experience in restoration or related trades, are physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, and possess or are willing to obtain IICRC certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, general labor, or skilled trades preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varied environments.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigation.
• Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers).
• Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Clean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contents.
• Take moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging tools.
• Document job progress with photos and mobile job management software.
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites.
• Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members.
• Follow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services.

Key Responsibilities
