Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup is hiring a Restoration Sales and Project Consultant in Danville, VA. This full-time, year-round role combines relationship-based outside sales with project leadership to help homeowners and businesses recover from water damage.

You will meet clients, assess damage, prepare estimates, and guide projects from start to finish in a field-based, customer-first environment. Base salary plus uncapped commission offers strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales or consultative sales.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to earn trust.
• Excellent organization, follow-up, and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivation and comfort working independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential and commercial water damage opportunities throughout the service area.
• Inspect damaged properties and evaluate restoration needs.
• Prepare detailed estimates and present customized mitigation solutions.
• Guide customers through the restoration process with clear, consistent communication.
• Coordinate project scheduling with office staff and mitigation technicians.
• Visit active job sites to monitor progress and ensure quality workmanship.
• Support field technicians by addressing customer concerns and helping projects stay on schedule.
• Develop referral relationships with plumbers, insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, and other partners.
• Identify opportunities to expand services while maintaining a consultative, customer-first approach.
