Job summary

SERVPRO of Sarasota is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our restoration team in Sarasota, FL. You’ll visit job sites, write detailed scopes, and build estimates in Xactimate for water, fire, and mold losses.

You’ll present estimates to homeowners, managers, and adjusters and coordinate with production and reconstruction teams. Ideal candidates have hands-on restoration experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in water mitigation, fire restoration, and mold remediation.
• Strong working knowledge of Xactimate.
• Proven ability to scope accurately and sell jobs.
• Familiarity with IICRC standards; IICRC certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple jobs.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to inspect and document loss conditions (photos, moisture readings, measurements).
• Write detailed scopes of work for water, fire and mold jobs.
• Coordinate handoff to reconstruction after mitigation.
• Build and submit estimates in Xactimate that meet guidelines.
• Present estimates to homeowners, managers, and adjusters.
• Coordinate with production crews to set up jobs for success.
• Follow up on open estimates to move the pipeline.
