Job summary

Taylored Restoration in Anchorage, AK, is seeking an experienced Restoration Estimator to plan, execute, and finalize restoration projects within deadlines and budgets. This role includes scoping, selling jobs, acquiring resources, and coordinating team members, with insurer and property manager relationships.

Responsibilities include project development from start to finish, defining scope, communicating expectations, drafting estimates with Xactimate, and generating leads.

Qualifications

• Solid restoration knowledge and reconstruction experience.
• In-depth experience using Xactimate software.
• Must have residential and commercial reconstruction experience.
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Flexible during times of change.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional customer communication and service skills.
• Ability to sell and present contracts to the client and close deals.
• Knowledge of the property/insurance industry.
• Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors from diverse disciplines.
• Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
• Estimators and Project Managers must take part in the rotational On Call duties.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Define project scope, goals for each project assigned and execute.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and customers in a timely and clear fashion.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit estimates using Xactimate.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
• Generate leads and close sales
• Manage relationships with insurance adjuster, property managers, insurance agents, contractors, etc.
