Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in restoration estimating, water/fire mitigation, and/or insurance adjusting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage customers during stressful loss situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, adjusters, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the restoration and mitigation process, including timelines and next steps.
• Assess property damage and understand immediate needs and potential upgrades.
• Ensure estimates and scopes align with client requirements and insurance carrier guidelines.
• Create accurate sketches and develop an initial scope of work for mitigation and restoration services.
• Deliver detailed, well-documented estimates using industry tools like Xactimate/Cotality.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and field teams to validate scope and pricing.
• Assemble clear estimates for internal review and client submission.
• Communicate estimate details, project scope, and updates with customers, insurers, and internal teams.
