Job summary

SERVPRO of North Bethesda is seeking a Restoration Estimator to oversee all aspects of restoration projects, lead crews, and ensure accurate scoping and client satisfaction. The role emphasizes frontline management, efficient staffing, and high-quality project completion.

The ideal candidate will have industry experience, management or supervisory experience, and preferred IICRC certification, with a path to advancement and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least one year of management and/or supervisory experience.
• At least three years of industry experience.
• IICRC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and follow‑up inspections to bring in new work.
• Draft accurate scopes of work for restoration projects and prepare statements of work using industry‑specific estimating software.
• Use Docusketch software to develop project scopes.
• Negotiate with customers and/or clients for approval of restoration activities.
• Review job site documentation to support services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing processes.
• Maintain all communications with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives.
• Collaborate with office staff to finalize scopes of work for submission to insurance companies for approval.
• Manage customer and client experience and overall satisfaction.
• Provide priority response to potential customers as needed.

Job Summary

As the Restoration Estimator you will oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects and manage the restoration crews. This front‑line management role leads a team to operational excellence, ensuring that projects are scoped accurately, staffed efficiently, and completed to client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Physical Demands & Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and operate in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
• Ability to repeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
• Ability to work with or around cleaning agents.
