Job summary

SERVPRO of North Bethesda is hiring a Restoration Estimator to oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects and crews. You will lead a front-line team toward operational excellence and drive project success with clear scopes and client communications.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the restoration industry, 1+ year of management experience, and are prepared for physical work and field supervision. Growth opportunities and thorough training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
• At least 3 years of industry experience.
• IICRC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and follow-up inspections to bring in new work.
• Draft an accurate scope of work for restoration projects and prepare statements of work using industry software.
• Use Docusketch to develop the scope of work.
• Negotiate with customers/clients for approval of restoration activities.
• Review site documentation to support services and billing.
• Maintain communications with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurers.
• Collaborate with office staff to finalize the scope for insurance submission.
• Manage customer experience and overall satisfaction.
• Provide priority response to potential customers when needed.

As the Restoration Estimator, you will oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects and assigned restoration crews. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence.

Career Path: After 30 days of employment WRT, AFTER 90 Days FRST, 90 days after FRST Completion HST Certification; After 1 year of employment ASD Certification

Key Responsibilities

• Complete initial and follow-up inspections to bring in new work.
• Draft an accurate scope of work for restoration projects and prepare statements of work utilizing industry-specific estimating software.
• Use Docusketch software to develop the scope of work.
• Negotiate with customers and/or clients for approval of restoration activities
• Review job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process
• Maintain all communications with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives
• Collaborate with the office staff to finalize the scope of work for submitting to insurance companies for approval of work to be performed.
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall satisfaction
• Provide priority response to potential customers, as needed.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma/GED; Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 1 year of management and/or supervisory experience
• At least 3 years of industry experience
• IICRC certification a preferred

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
