Job summary

Baxter and Woodman Inc in Naperville, IL seeks a Restoration Ecologist - Stewardship Crew I to join our field team and contribute to stream, prairie and woodland restoration projects. You will work closely with our senior ecologists on-site near Naperville, Marengo, or Mokena, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of ecological practices.

This entry-level role requires an Associates or Bachelor’s in Natural Resources or related field and the ability to lift 35-50 lbs, work outdoors, and

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources or related field.
• Ability to obtain herbicide license within 30 days of start date.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete restoration tasks: planting, seeding, erosion control, brush cutting, herbicide application.
• Assist with stream restoration and detention basin retrofits.
• Serve municipalities, subdivisions, and private clients.
