Baxter & Woodman is seeking a Restoration Ecologist - Stewardship Crew I to support our Naperville, Marengo, or Mokena, IL offices. This role involves hands-on restoration work and collaboration with senior ecologists on projects within an hour of our offices.

Education required includes an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources or related fields, with the ability to obtain a herbicide license within 30 days. Applicants must be willing to work outdoors and move 35-50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must obtain herbicide license within 30 days of start date.
• Must be willing to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Complete restoration work including planting, seeding, erosion control, brush cutting, and herbicide applications.
• Assist with construction projects like stream restoration and detention basin retrofits.
• Perform work for municipalities, subdivisions, and private clients.
