Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI is seeking a Lead Technician/Restoration Crew Chief for residential and commercial fire and water cleanup and restore. This position directs, aids, and supervises Restoration Technicians on the project, with a pay starting at $24–$28 per hour and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

The role includes field duties such as mitigation, water extraction, cleaning, mold abatement, and content handling. Benefits include health and wellness insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, and scheduled holidays.

Qualifications

• Restoration or carpet and upholstery cleaning experience required.
• Previous Crew Chief experience in a fire and flood restoration company preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to travel out of town as needed.
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Water Restoration Certification (IICRC WRT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and quality completion of restoration cleaning, moving, packing or general labor projects.
• Direct, aid and supervise Restoration Techs and staff on the crew per project.
• Ensure competence and quality of Restoration Techs and staff.
• Facilitate ongoing training and knowledge growth for the team.
• Maintain productivity of the crew as directed by the Production Manager.
• Complete all required restoration project documentation with forms and photo documentation.
• Maintain excellent customer communication and relations.
• Perform other duties as required.
