Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Houston, TX is seeking a Lead Technician/Restoration Crew Chief for residential and commercial fire and water damage cleanup. The role involves directing restoration crews, coordinating tasks such as water extraction, cleaning, mold abatement, and content handling, with pay starting at $25+ per hour and negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• IICRC ASD and WRT certifications required.
• Experience in restoration or carpet/upholstery cleaning.
• Previous Crew Chief experience in fire/flood restoration.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel out of town and lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, quality completion of restoration cleaning, moving, packing, or labor projects.
• Direct, aid, and supervise Restoration Techs and staff on each project.
• Evaluate competence and quality of Restoration Techs and laborers.
• Promote ongoing training to raise skills and capabilities.
• Oversee productivity of team members on site.
• Ensure project documentation and photo records are completed per protocol.
• Maintain excellent customer communication and relations.
• Perform other duties as required.
