The Position:

We’re looking for a Restoration Crew Chief. This position is for residential and commercial fire and water clean-up and restoration. Job assignments include but are not limited to:

1. Specialty mitigation services
2. Light demolition
3. Water extraction
4. Carpet and upholstery cleaning
5. Mold abatement
6. Vandalism clean-up
7. Fire and smoke damage mitigation
8. Content move-outs and pack-ins
9. Content cleaning

This position also directs, aids, and supervises the Restoration Technicians assigned to the project.

The pay range we’re offering starts at $18 - $22 per hour, negotiable based on experience.

Requirements:

1. Restoration or carpet and upholstery cleaning experience
2. Previous experience as a Crew Chief in a fire and flood restoration company is highly desired
3. Good communication skills
4. Valid Driver's License
5. Reliable transportation
6. Previous restoration experience is a plus
7. Ability to travel out of town
8. Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs
9. Pass background check and drug screen
10. Water Restoration Tech Certification (WRT) IICRC

Responsibilities:

1. Ensures the timely quality completion of assigned restoration cleaning, moving, packing, or general labor projects.
2. Directs, aids, and supervises the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers assigned to the Restoration Crew Chief by the Project Manager on a per project basis.
3. Ensures and evaluates the competence and quality of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers.
4. Ensures a continuous increase in the knowledge and skill level (training) of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers.
5. Ensures the productivity of the Restoration Techs and Staff Laborers assigned to the Restoration Crew Chief by the Production Manager.
6. Ensures all required restoration project documentation, including forms and photo-documentation, is completed in accordance with established protocols.
7. Ensures excellent customer communication and relations.
8. Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties.
