City Thrift is growing, and we are always looking for talented Store Managers! As a Store Manager in Training in the discount retail, repurpose and recycle space, you will be part of a company that has been around almost 40 years helping the environment, providing quality jobs and offering superior value to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
* Responsible for the overall management and direction of all supervisors and team members in accordance with policies and applicable laws.
* Meet customer needs with a smiling face and remember that the customer always comes first.
* Represent the company and store within the community and act as a liaison.
* Ensure company records are completed and retained in accordance with company policy.
* Ensure standards are met on all levels from each department and the OSHA, compliance with EEOC, and DOT.
* Ability to manage a group of 30-40 people.
* Ability to manage the financial assets of the store and achieve monthly budget in sales and expense categories.
* Address performance concerns promptly, directly, fairly, and respectfully while maintaining a solutions-based focus.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Minimum 3 years of retail management experience (thrift preferred).
* Ability to think and act as a business owner in the retail sector.
* Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervision.
* Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
* Ability to make or influence decisions.
* Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
