Job summary

SERVPRO Team Allen is seeking a Crew Chief to oversee water and fire damage projects in NYC. You will lead the on-site crew, set up drying equipment, track progress, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in water mitigation or construction.
• Experience leading a crew on-site.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and wear a respirator.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• IICRC WRT/ASD certs a plus; we’ll help you get them.

Responsibilities

• Run mitigation jobs from start to finish.
• Lead techs on-site, assign daily work.
• Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and drying equipment.
• Handle water extraction, demolition, and cleanup.
• Take moisture readings and track drying progress.
• Document jobs with photos and notes.
• Keep the truck and jobsite clean and organized.
• Talk to customers and keep them informed.
• Join the on-call rotation for emergencies (nights/weekends as needed).

SERVPRO Team Allen is hiring a Crew Chief to run water and fire damage jobs across NYC. You'll lead the crew on-site, set up drying equipment, keep the job on track, and make sure the customer is taken care of. If you know this trade and want to grow into a bigger role, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
