SERVPRO Team McCabe is hiring a Restoration Crew Chief. You will lead restoration projects, coordinate activities, and ensure a positive customer experience. A front-line SERVPRO representative, you’ll supervise technicians and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

The role emphasizes effective communication, physical capability, and the ability to travel locally. Training and development opportunities, including certifications, are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; IICRC preferred.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration is preferred.
• Must have strong communication and basic computer skills.

• Coordinate, oversee, and perform restoration processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall project satisfaction; supervise restoration technicians.
• Document restoration projects and support the services provided; maintain safety standards.

The Restoration Crew Chief prescribes, coordinates, controls, and performs work activities on restoration projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and perform restoration processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall project satisfaction Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities
• Thoroughly document restoration projects support the services provided
• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control, this is a labor intensive position
• Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers. Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided
• Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects. Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.
• Assist with hiring as well as coach and train restoration technicians

Position Requirements

• Effective written and oral communication with basic math and computer skills needed
• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objectsAbility to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
• Flexibility to work overtime and be on call
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law required
• Valid driver’s license required
• IICRC certifications preferred
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
