SERVPRO of Gaithersburg/Germantown is seeking a Construction Estimator to help restore properties after fire and water damage. You will assess projects, prepare accurate estimates, educate customers on the process, and collaborate with project managers to price bid items.

Qualifications

• 2 years of construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience
• Superior customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong mathematical skills
• Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Team-oriented mindset
• Good driving record

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships for construction services
• Educate customers on the construction process and upgrades
• Work with customers to understand desired changes
• Ensure estimates meet client requirements
• Analyze labor, material and time needs for projects
• Create sketches and initial scopes of work
• Deliver clear, initial estimates to the project manager
• Identify constraints and required upgrades
• Coordinate with specialists to finalize estimates
• Document scope of work and communicate with PM
