Job summary
Chowbus in Seattle is seeking a Technical Associate to install and support restaurant technology, interfacing with restaurants and customers to optimize Chowbus services in local markets.
Responsibilities include configuring menus before installation, validating networks, installing and training on terminals, kiosks, and printers, and providing on-site support after go-live, while collaborating with central operations, product, and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin required; other languages considered as a plus.
- Previous customer-facing/service experience is required.
- 1+ years in software operations and hardware installation is highly preferred.
- Startup experience is preferred; Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Configure restaurant menus before installation and assist with post-installation menu requests.
- Ensure network setup and verification are complete prior to hardware installation.
- Install, configure, and train on Chowbus products (terminals, kiosks, printers, and peripherals).
- Provide on-site post-install support to monitor POS performance and address issues.
- Collaborate with central operations, product, and engineering teams to drive adoption of new offerings locally.
